Story
The story of Final Fantasy VII is very twisting and is very hard to understand. After all these years, it was actually the storyline of Final Fantasy VII that made it so popular. What truly made Final Fantasy VII famous was the storyline. Though the graphics for this game was not very good when on the field, the movies had excellent graphics. With one exception, when Aeris dies, Sephiroth's sword was struck through her stomach, but there was no blood. After viewing this, I was shocked, both at the fact that there was no blood, and the fact that Aeris was killed. So anyways, here's what the story is like.
Cloud Strife is a mercenary, and he quit SOLDIER to join AVALANCHE, a team working to stop a business called Shinra Inc. These guys would suck Life Energy from the planet and use it for their power supply. AVALANCHE's job was to stop these guys, but after being thrown in prison for their actions, and their entire Sector was destroyed, including most of their team and thousands of civilians, the President of Shinra Inc was killed by someone known as the legendary SOLDIER, and thought to be dead, Sephiroth. This was Cloud's ultimate rival since he was fifteen, five years before. Cloud decided to follow Sephiroth, to get even with what had happened five years ago. Though they always won, the new AVALANCHE (Cloud, Barret, Aeris, Tifa, Cait Sith, Cid, Red XIII) was always being hindered by the new Shinra Inc. run by Rufus, the new President, and son of President Shinra. Sephiroth was looking originally for the Promise Lands, but his search grew as he discovered the Black Materia, the ultimate destructive magic, which summons Meteor!
